Shortly after Simpson Strong-Tie acquired former client Swan Secure Products in 2007, I began work on a series of vector-based illustrations of fasteners made of stainless steel and other non-ferrous metals.

Renderings precisely illustrate each fastener’s specific physical point, thread and head configurations as well as visual appearance relative to its alloy type and finish.

All of these images are vector-based, so they can be scaled to any size and optimized for online display or output as high-resolution bitmapped files suitable for print production.
